I thought I'd post in this thread since no one seems to care about the cruisers.
I wish we could see more good fights like Toney-Jirov or Mormeck-Bell, hell even Holyfield-Qawi back in the olden days, but it seems like all the action is overseas, so maybe we'll finally get to see a decent fight or two for a change.

Cruiserweight just seems to be a weigh station division for light heavy's and future heavies.

cruisers don't get hype behind them like the other divisions do but if you watch the fights, you'll be thoroughly entertained. a cw fight is like watching a hw fight on fast forward. basically everyone has power like the hw's plus they are more skilled with a higher workrate. its the most under appreciated division but hopefully it gets a little more recognition now that haye has spotlighted it even though he is leaving there is still some prospects like Jonathan Banks who will have ppl watching the cw division for atleast a short while like haye did.

In both cases you have to admit, where else are any of these guys going to make $500,000 to $1,000,000 in 4 fights???

I'll admit that, Banks can't make that kind of money at this stage.

Dude had david haye on ***** street a couple of times in there fight, that fight just shows that david haye isn't invincible even though he came back to knock o'neil out. If he were a better finisher he probably would have put a second loss on Haye's record

Bell looked shot against adamek although bell was always an up and down fighter. Banks should be concentrating on world title fights not some TV show other than that it should be a good show. Cruiser has had some great fights recently, Mormeck Vs Bell 1,2, Mormeck Vs Haye, Mormeck Vs Braithwaite, Toney Vs Jirov more good title fights than heavyweight has had in the last 10 years.
