Cintron should move to 154, he grab a title up there.
147 is just to deep for him.
He's a very good fighter but not elite!Comment

People are way too harsh on Cintron. He's only lost two fights, against one single fighter in Margarito, which there is no shame there. Margarito as far as I'm concerned is a beast.
And like I said yesterday, if you re-watch the 2nd fight against Margarito, Manny Steward continued to tell Cintron between rounds to go forward and fight with Margarito. Bad coaching imo since margarito is a much more skilled inside fighter then Kermit, plus Kermit is at his best when he fights from the outside and uses his height/reach.
Regardless, I'd like to see him at 154, I think he can be relatively successful there.
He's an exciting fighter. His weaknesses are his defense, probably his heart and/or mental state, but he has extraordinary power in combination with great height/reach advantage over most opponents which imo will always make him entertaining and a threat.
I find on this site in particular people are haters when it comes to fighters that aren't elite. Well, sorry to inform you but 99.999% of fighters are not elite. People like Cintron or Miranda get bashed on all the time for losing to top level guys, but ****, they are fighters and very entertaining and this is a competitive sport, not everyone can be Floyd Mayweather or Pavlik, etc.Last edited by ИATAS; 07-10-2008, 01:12 PM.Comment
