Taylor had many moments in his first fight with Pavlik, and for the majority of the second fight whereby he looked good. Tons better than he had in his previous 4 fights. He's got mad skills, good hand speed, and decent power. I think he'll do fine with a few extra pounds. Seeing as how he is a former world champion, still plenty young, and his only losses came against a future hall-of-fame middleweight champion, he deserves title shots and big money fights.

He'll eat Lacy, and then hopefully, Kessler, Froch, Bute, and Taylor will engage in a round-robin.

I desperately want Lacy to win, get back on top and start knocking people out. We all know it's not going to happen i'm a Lacy fan before a Calzaghe fan before anyone asks. I thought Lacy would destroy Calzaghe.

A future HOFer? A bit premature don't you think?

wishfull thinking about the round robin but i agree it would give us some potentially great fights.

Someone actually pointed this out, but Bunce and Setanta were wrong on the date. 11/23 is a Sunday and 11/22 is the date set aside for Hatton-Malignaggi, but Taylor is set to return in November.

I like Taylor and Lacy but Taylor should win. It's really a do or die for both fighters.

I look forward to Lacy's tune-up. That ought to tell a lot of how his shoulder has been rehabbed.
