Wlad's second south paw in a row...does the Sanders fight still linger?

Lets face it Wlad's last fight was a stinker for one reason and one reason only...Corrie Sanders!

Sultan Ibragimov was a dead man standing in front of the best offensive fighter in the division..clearly the best offensive fighter in the division and instead of taking out the sneaky southpaw Wlad chose to play it ultra safe.

I was surpised to see Wlad take a second consecutive fight with a southpaw with the fan fallout from his previous fight with Sultan...does anyone think Wlad will step up the action this time around? Or is the thought of getting hit with that hard to see left hand linger in his mind...do the demons of Corrie Sanders still linger?

Lets face it there is a reason he never fought the South African in a revenge match, instead his sturdier chinned brother was called in to do the job (needed that sturdy chin btw).

Im not ragging on Wlad-I CLEARY believe he is the best HW in the world and I want to see him do well because he is good for the sport and the hurting division but WK vs. another southpaw...**** n a thats not gonna be good for anybody regardless of the outcome!

I think Manny Steward would have told him in training camp he needs to be more offensive this time around considering what he told Wlad in between rounds towards the end of the Iggy fight and Wlad said himself that he realizes that he needs to perform better than he did against Iggy so yes I think he will come out a bit more offensive minded this fight or will become more offensive minded as the fight goes on.

About the Sanders fight, I think it will always be in the back of his mind as will all of his other losses but I think for the most part he's gotten over them.

The initial first-round headbutt from Sanders was instrumental in what happened later. Wlad was stunned, and then left himself open to the punches.

It had nothing to do with Sanders being a southpaw - more to do with his hard punching and aggressive style.
