    Lockett didn't get the chance to receive a brutal beating. They knew what was coming and threw the towel in. I'd say Diaz over Gomez, by a close shave.

      De Leon and Lockett got Knockout early so that's why... I agree Diaz receive more beating than Gomez... Diaz whole face is messed up and ended up getting knockout cold. He took a lot of punishment... Gomez fight was stopped.

        David Diaz did take the worst beating, but that's because he had the most heart. Gary Lockett was a joke as he kept taking a knee everytime he got hit with a right hand. Ponce de Leon got knocked out like in 90 seconds. Alfonso Gomez comes in second I guess, cuz that beating lasted a little longer than the Lockett mismatch. Diaz took the worst beating only because he had more heart than those other fighters.
