it was a joy watching bradley outbox squirrly witter.
his career most recent is a dream come true that doent happen veryoffen.

but now he's facing his most dangerous opponent.
was thinking he could savor his time on top for
    awhile with a tuneup.
    hope if
he goes down he goes down in flames against urango.

I remember that fight. Campbell was putting it on him the first 4 rounds but as the fight progressed Isaac Hlatschwayo looked so much stronger than Nate and won the later rounds going away.

That made me think Nate would have trouble with a perceivably stronger Diaz.

Of course Guzman's style is way different but he seems to be strong enough and quick enough to make it a very good fight.

bradley came out of nowhere and exposed witter.
witters already fought every wink link there is. to redeem himself he might have to fight a legit 10 ten.
i think urangos going to blast bradley out of there.

Are you kidding me? Vilches was hitting Urango with some good shots and even Ricky hatton was managing to outbox Urango.

Urango is slow as hell and just plots foward all day with rarely any defense. Easy money for Bradley who seemed like he could box well. He's a boxer puncher I would say based off of the Witter fight.

I got points on Bradley. You guys really underestimate him then

Campbell should have never took his foot off the gas pedal. He had Hlatschwayo beat but how he performed down the stretch hurt him. Look at where he is now, he's a welterweight. Hlatschwayo was physically a lot bigger but that doesn't mean much because I've seen him handle undefeated super middleweights in the gym. Of course thats very different than a 12 round fight.

Hopefully it'll land in Jacksonville. I'll road trip up there with some buddies.

Don King Rejects Sycuan Site Offer, Hunts For Venue For Nate Campbell-Joan Guzman Sept. 13!
                  Michael Marley
                  7/9/2008

The contracts have been agreed to, triple-belted lightweight champion Nate Campbell and undefeated Joan Guzman are in serious training mode already and Showtime will televise their bout Sept. 13.

(From the looks of this fiery photo, you might think the Domican Dandy has been training in the midst of those terrible California wild fires.)

One key ingredient is lacking ,though, and it is a proper venue. It’s a hot match on paper but, as the late, great boxing visionary Big Al Braverman used to say, “ did you ever see two piece of paper climb up in the ring and fight?”

Guzman promoter Sycuan extended an offer to host the show in an outdoor ring set up in a parking area adjacent to its casino in El Cajon, near San Diego. But lead promoter Don King politely rejected the offer, saying he can get more money elsewhere. Sycuan could set up about 4,000 seats in the al fresco setup.

New York is out with Joe Calzaghe-Roy Jones taking the Madison Square Garden ring on Sept. 20. Las Vegas is out with the Juan Manuel Marquez-Joel Casamayor promoted by Golden Boy.

King was unavailable for comment Wednesday. But he may be looking to Atlantic City where the site fee is not likely to be much greater than what Sycuan offered.

He may seem to between a rock and a hard place but, usually, that’s when King delivers big.

It’s no secret that Campbell and co-promoter Terry Trekas favor Jacksonville or any other Florida site. Problem is King can’t generate any meaningful site fee in the Sunshine State.

King continues to have his lightly-staffed HQs in Deerfield Beach,. Fl.
