You mean Gabi who took the fight short notice, had to cut alot of weight and rehydrated a grip of weight back... Even Emanuel Stewart knew that fight was over before it began just by that fact... Some people here only can see that Banal is taking a 10-2 opponent when Mares had it easy with a out of shape Gabi who was tagging him before the KO. Banal hits waaaay harder than Gabi, if a out of shape Gabi can tag Mares, Banal would too.

Far superior?I don't see that either....Yes Gabi took the fight short notice and was overweight at the weigh-in and before that he was already KTFOed by Darchinyan...I don't ****in' care if he fights a 10-2-1 record,he's just 19 y.o....He's supposed to fight the WBA #1 and #2 contenders but they refused.Roberto Vasquez was also offered but he also declined...
