I agree, the HW divison is at the best it has been in years!!! The Eastern Europen HW's are very good. The haters just keep hating.

Okay Tunney. I am missing something. I want you to educate me. Where have all the great HW fights been in the last few years? If the division is actually healthy, why is the product so poor? Sultan is supposed to be one of the strongest guys in the division, he is a joke. He wouldn't be a contender in any other era in history. Wladimir is literally the only class fighter in the division. Peter is the second best and he is just a fat joke.

Look, there isn't much to bash about Wladimir Klitschko right now. What people want to see a heavyweight champion is do what heavyweight champions do i.e. knock people out.

The main difference between heavyweights and other divisions is that those guys are supposed to be so big that they knock people out.

Notable heavyweight champions, George Foreman, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Mike Tyson. What made them so popular was that they blew people away.

Evander Holyfield suffered the same problem when he was champion because he wasn't knocking people out like Tyson. He was black and American, didn't make a difference with popular press of his day.

What people need to realize is that you're only as good as your last fight. If Klitschko looks great against Thompson, the tune will change and he'll be red hot again.

but i'm a big follower of the lineal theory. manny can get 20 belts at 135 but that doesn't stop me from calling casa THE CHAMP at lightweight 'til someone beats him (santa cruz fight aside)
