beating katsidis was not a fluke for casa. i like katsidis man- ive seen him fight live.... twice- hes a ****ing beast, but you can't discredit one of the craftiest veterans in the game. a slick southpaw, former olympic gold medalist, world champion, and amateur prodigy of the most accomplished amateur system in the world (the cuban system), Casamayor dug deep in his bag of tricks to slay the vicious, determined, younger fighter. Katsidis will be back to fight another day and he has hopefully learned not to be reckless like he was in that 10th round.

Props to both guys- they are ****ing warriors. Katsidis can redeem himself and be right back in the mix with a win over diaz. casa doesn't have too much left in the tank at his age and having survived many wars like that, but he pulled out the hard earned win and will now have his hands full with another boxing genius, like himself - juan Manuel Marquez (Jesus is that gonna be a good one for true fans of the sweet science)! If he wins (which would be amazing in itself), he can cash out against pacquiao and win or lose, retire knowing that his 1st ballot hall of fame induction is a lock!
