its ironic how juan called out paccquiao and insisted that he would avenge all the mexicans and how he is a true mexican at heart.

then he cries about Katsidis's gloves- we're talking about the quintessential MEXICAN gloves here, Cleto-Reyes....

Morales did the same thing. Pac wanted the Mex gloves and Morales wanted the Asian gloves- Winning. The difference in that fight (the 1st pac-morales fight) is that Pac's manager made the mistake of conceding his glove of choice for Winning all around in that fight by not reviewing the details of the contract before having Pac-Man sign it. But Juan Diaz signed a contract letting Katsidis use the Mexican gloves, so he had no right to ***** after the fact!!!! No body can question Morales's heart though- a true Mexican warrior!

BTW, Juan didn't want Katsidis to wear Cleto-Reyes? Sounds like the Morales/Pac I fight.
a good fighter should be able to fight with any brand gloves. RJJ wanted to use his Grants for the Trinidad fight and got screwed out of using them, but he didn't put up too much of a fuss, he used the everlast and won. There are more important things than the brand of gloves for a fighter to worry about IMO, like getting KTFO. I'm gonna give the decision to Katsidis just because I think after the Casaymour (spelling) hes going to be more determined than ever.

What makes you think Juan Diaz wouldn't be just as determined? All I know is this fight is hard to judge who will win though I think Katsidis has the edge even though I'm not completely sold on that thought. I like both guys so may the best man win.

i do kinda dislike diaz, you are right, but that doesn't make me a hater- what an overused term. i respect him as a fighter who goes all out for it, but I don't like his complaining, his lack of punching power, his annoying yelps, or the fact that he looks flabby (I'm glad Nate capitalized on that gut with body shots and it slowed the Baby Bull down for sure), though I know his overall conditioning has to be good based on how many punches he throws.

I enjoyed watching Nate win, because I knew he is a good guy and that he had it in him and it was going to be his last shot at a title. he came out and proved himself superior.

I don't see how anything backfired on me?!? I'm just making observations and asked everyone who they thought would win. you say diaz, I say possibly you may be right, though I am picking Katsidis. He comes forward non-stop with more power than Diaz has and they will meet head-on the same way Campbell and Diaz did. Juan doesn't seem to like it when the pressure he usually applies on lesser opponents is put on him and that is exactly what Katsidis will do. I wouldn't mind seeing a stoppage either, and it is entirely possible. And yes sir, I am very glad the fight is on- may the best man win....
