HBO PPV just lost a prospective buyer...

Next time, when you have a badass fight like Cotto vs. Margarito... try to put at least one fight on the undercard that I would be able to act like I'm enjoying.

What the **** is this **** on the undercard anyway?

Good names don't make good fights. Good fights make themselves.

I just refuse to make my third PPV another one with no good memories of undercard fights.

I have ordered Mayweather vs. DLH and Mayweather vs. Hatton up to this point, so... my undercard fights I have seen live have been:

Rocky Juarez vs. Jose Andres Hernandez (boring as ****)
Rey Bautista vs. Sergio Manuel Medina (not terrible, but... skill? Not much in that ring)
Edner Cherry vs. Wes Ferguson II (No one could land a clean punch until the end)
Daniel Ponce de Leon vs. Eduardo Escobedo (Classic case of the aggressor vs. the survivor... generally makes for a boring bout)
Jeff Lacy vs. Peter Manfredo Jr. (Lacy didn't show up for the bout at all... and then Manfredo shelled up when he got hit once)

        Terrible, terrible, terrible.

I refuse to let this happen to me again. I guess I'll have to wait for the next big fight to hope to change my luck on undercard fights, because this one just isn't going to do it.

Good names make fights that are significant to the sport, which I am actually more interested in than a really great fight between two guys who will never win a title.

I can live with Mora vs. Forrest (even though it was pretty boring), because it was for a 154 title and was pretty damn important to the division, but... people I've never heard of just don't do it for me.

You can find that in a boxing gym for free..

When you spend 49.95 on a PPV you want NAMES.

Speak for yourself. I want to be entertained, period. If that means to subpar names in a brutal war, over two sparkling names that stink up the joint, so be it.

To each his own. But I pay for the entertainment. Not the entertainers.

The reason HBO dont do good undercards with big name fighter is because they have to pay the Main headliners alot of money, There is NO money left over for a decent undercard so they just put a ****ty line up on.

Cotto/Margarito isnt going to make HBO a lot of money(Oscar or Mayweatherwise) so i wouldnt expect the undercard to be any good.
