Exactly...he just flat out told Cotto "Leave arum and I'll fight you".

Yet the sheep on ths site never mention that...they just follow everyone else....

    "floyd ducked Cotto"

A man fights who his biggest challenge is. A businessman worries about the details. You can be whichever you prefer. I really won't hate on either. But, I know who I'd rather be. Because if you're a truly great fighter on the superstar level that Mayweather is on, he'd have made the money and the legacy anyway. Instead, he went for only one of the two.

I agree Even oscar didnt want to fight Mayweather if Arum was going to be involve thats one of the reason Mayweather brought out his contract.

Oscar basically said to Mayweather leave arum and i would think about fighting you, Now Oscar didnt get any heat for saying it but Mayweather gets it for some reason.

Because Oscar has paid his dues for a bit longer than Mayweather has.

Regardless, I don't like either of the cases.

I dont like it as well but there must be a reason why some people hate Arum, They are the one closer to boxing than We(The fans) so they know more than us in that aspect.

Because Don King has a murderous passed and because of his flamboyant look and attitude, he always gets more attention. But, I always thought Arum was right up there with him in terms of douche bags.

Thats a fight i wouldn't mind seeing, Margarito's chances of winning a second fight would be much higher.

depends on how you look at it, the landscape of the fight game might have changed, instead of floyd having the linear championship, he would have had the WBO belt, then he would have fought DLH at 154, eventually, it probably would have been cotto sitting with the linear title right now, and in december, we might have seen mayweather/cotto.

i dont think thats fair at all, mayweather was matched up much tougher than oscar was early in his career. I can actually remember being in high school and remembering commentary about how mayweather is being matchup to tough too soon, you may think oscar "paid his dues" but mayweather was being matched up with legit competition by his 18th fight. mayweather paid just as many "dues' as oscar, but mayweather is an ******* who has a certain expectation of entitlement, oscar has it also, but hes far more mature in how he goes about his buisness and handles himself.

Williams wins again. But hopefully Marg loses to Cotto and goes back to fighting nobodies.
