Adamek is a great fighter to watch...I first saw him fighting Paul Briggs and although Briggs was admirable IMO Adamek totally dominated both fights.
Best of luck to him!!
Tomasz Adamek is the Best Cruiserweight in the world IMO.
Watch out for Russian Alexander Alexeev (15-0 14 KO's), he is the best cruiserweight prospect and he will be the future champ of the division.
You do not know **** about the sport of boxing. You should go to slavic pride website and ********** alongside the rest of the idiots who have blind man love for their own race.

I hate the fact that people like you post here.
I take it you don't agree with my opinion?.....With Haye gone up to heavyweight, Adamek is now the best cruiserweight....Alexeev is the top prospect and will be future champ of the division.
You're just another jealous american piece of ****.

hey pal, I love calzags and think Diaconu is one of the FINEST young talents out their. I am personal friends with Sultan Ibrag and know that ALOT of european fighters are the future of boxing. HOWEVER, I also know that americans, mexicans, pinoys, boriquas, dominicanos etc.... also have excellent fighters.
Wlad is the champ, he is no Lennox Lewis.
PS: if you are interested Timor has stepped it up on all aspects and is ****ing ripped and skilled. A force to be reckoned with.

I think Steve Cunningham would have something to say about that.

Adamek has good power, but his defense is suspect. He gave a brave effort against dawson and briggs. I didn't get to see the Bell fight, as I was the chef on the grill. I believe Cunningham is the best cruiser even when Haye was at cruiser, but that's neither here nor there. I think Adamek is going to be better at cruiser and his power will keep him in all fights.

Adamek is very good but you're right about his defense. He'll have problems with Steve Cunningham, who's underrated, and will likely defeat Tomasz by decision later this year.
You're right about Cunningham being a better all-round fighter than Haye.
The only cruiserweight that is probably better than Cunningham is Alexeev.
It's an interesting division, people who say there is no talent there are just ignorant.
Adamek isn't the best cruiserweight but his recent emergence has made this division a bit deeper. Cunningham is the man and the line of talented contenders is long and young. Also this is the most global division in the game with top fighters coming from several different countries and continents. Many writers have been lauding this division for some time and we have been lobbying TV execs to show more cruiserweight fights. As soon as the TV stations catch on, so will every boxing fan (most already have).
He kicked O'Neil Bell's ass and put Dawson on his ass. He's a tough fighter. He beat Briggs despite having a broken nose in training the first fight.
He comes to fight so he's a major player in the division and the higher weight seems to suit him better.
When he uses his boxing skills he's tough to beat.
Adamek is serious business for anyone he fights. His loss to Dawson was a credit to the winner, not a knock on Adamek. He just outgrew the division. Cunningham-Adamek is an outstanding matchup that I hope makes American TV.
