july 26th cotto will get his first taste of true welterweight power

cotto has not faced a power puncher yet. look at the facts:

quintana: could not ko the best fighters he beat williams and julio.

urkal: 12 kos in 38 wins and most of that was at 140. he has no power.

judah: 3 kos in 11 fights at welterweight. (27% ko ratio is a joke)

mosley: has not knocked out a welterweight fighter since 2001!!!!

gomez: not even 50% ko ratio and hes not a top level fighter anyway.

cottos chin will be tested and cracked july 26!!!

We'll know for sure the 26th, but I personally think Cotto won't be knocked out. To Mosley's credit though, he did send Vargas on his back the second time around and forced the ref to stop the fight. Mayorga couldn't do that at 164.

on july 26 margarito is going to see what an elite fighter looks like not a mentally weak fighter like cintron who couldn't deal with feliciano's pressure

I have to admit that is a valid point. I didn't realize that Zab's KO stats were so weak, although his competition has been mostly very good.

cotto's win over mosley was overated.
he didn't even dominate an old mosley.

An old Mosley thats still one of the best in the Welterweight division. A division that is arguably the best in boxing today.
