    Barreara-Marquez

Discuss the fight, how you felt it should have been scored, the controversial lopsided scores for Marquez, who even if you felt won the fight know he didnt win it by that much.

The whole fight's on YouTube, here'd the video that begins at Round 7, probably the best round of the fight as Marquez tees off on Barrera, and is knocked down at the end of the round, HIT while down, and Barrera is deducted a point. The worst part of all: Jay Nady neglects to call it a knockdown, when on replay it's BLATANTLY a knockdown.

I thought Marquez handled him with relative ease.

It was a closer fight that the scorecard indicated.

Barrera would have won if he didnt hit Marquez when he was down if they had fair judges

I had Barrera winning that fight, but in the end I was happy it went to Marquez after that **** in the 7th round.

it was a gifted win to setup for Pacquiao vs. Marquez 2.

And Pacquiao ended up facing Barrera anyway.

Because Barrera ran the whole time.

Anyway, this is the most underrated fight of 2007. Great war and probably 2nd runner up for FOTY. Pavlik-Taylor being the first

because barrera was more afraid of pac than jmm.

i though mab won, even w/ the pt deduction, but by the slimmest of margin.
