I just thought because of MARGARITO's position when the offers were made ( #1 ranked welter weight in the world ) he rightfully deserved the shot and with the money being offered, why not? ...every fighter who steps in the ring has a shot to win..

I don't think Floyd was as confident in victory as I was for him or else he would take the fight. Because he was the bigger name and more skillfull fighter, it pissed me off that he would "discredit" such a warrrior like Margarito and make excuses not fight him, only to fight less deserving opponents...all the while his fans went along with it...cuz they just cant believe that Floyd would "avoid" ANYONE. Marg DESERVED a shot at the best , he earned it. Like it or not.

Had Floyd beatin him... I wouldve given him his props.. I do that when my fighter loses... I was a HUGE Vargas fan and gave mad props to Dela for standing up to the bully and whoopin that ass. But intead Floyd dissed him and avoided him and I waw labled a HATER because of it.

Ive never said Floyd ****** or didnt have skills. I just merely pointed out in his career where he avoided fighters. Floyd fans need to accept that he QUIT without fighting the best. I wont call it retired , becuase he is way too young and healthy to retire.

Cotto would whoop that ass tho'.
floyd would beat margarito easily... it will look like the baldomir fight and everyone will be leaving their seats by the 7th round.

cotto would give floyd somewhat of a tough fight for the first couple of rounds, then when cotto gasses floyd will light him up with accurate right hands all night.

what a delusional nut hugger. fans were the leaving the Baldo fight cuz Floyd was not entertaining at all.. he was running from an old man with very little KO's in his career.

Margarito can give an ass whippin to someone who is stationary (as Cintron was). But when you put a guy in there that moves around constantly it's tough for someone like Margarito who lunges forward a lot to throw his punches and needs a standing target to connect. Neither Floyd or Cotto stay in the pocket long enough to take unnecessary shots. I'm sure he'd hit Floyd a few times as Im sure he'll do with Cotto, but people make Margarito into this powerhouse puncher when in actuality he's been made to look so against far less competitive fighters.

floyd/margarito will be as entertaining as floyd/baldomir. floyd just don't have the power to stop margarito but margarito will be as flummoxed as baldomir as what to do since both only know how to fight one way. people will be leaving their seats early in a fight between floyd and margarito because margarito will be outclassed.

not really mayweather workrate has decreased a lot, his number of jabs and combos have decreased thats why he had such a close fight with the old dlh
against a larger and more active opponent like margarito or williams he would have a tough time
not to mention he might get knocked the **** out
