Tough to call. In one way Abraham's style is absolutely made for Pavlik in that he stands in front of you in a high guard taking shots on his gloves, waiting for you to stop so he can throw back. In theory, with Kelly's workrate and reach he could be raining blows on Abraham all night long, and either wear him down for a KO (unlikely) or just get a points verdict.

However, Abraham is no chump and will have his opportunities too. He is faster than Kelly and Kellyis not hard to hit. We have seen what Abraham's power can do and I have absolutely no doubt that he will land some hard shots on Kelly. If Taylor can put Pavlik in trouble then Abraham can certainly KO him.

So, in the end it really comes down to which man's strength/ chin/ stamina is in the best condition to withstand the other mans assault. Can Abraham withstand the accumulative damage inflicted by Pavlik and can Pavlik withstand Arthur's single shots. Based on their recent fights I'd say I slightly favour Abraham, who went 12 with Miranda despite having a broken jaw, over Pavlik who has been dropped several times and was seriously hurt when it happened against Taylor. I might very easily be wrong though, and if it goes the distance then I think Pavlik will get the decision.

Whilst I rate this fight as virtually no chance of ever actually taking place I don't think that, in the event that it did, it would be the walk in the park for Pavlik that people would think. Mundine has improved a lot since losing to Ottke and he took Kessler's best shots for 12 rounds. I don't think Kelly hits harder than Pavlik. I would pick Kelly by UD but not in a totally uncompetitive fight.

Yeah I'd say that is a pretty fair appraisal. I really think it is a pick 'em type fight. Very difficult. Although I haven't seen as much of AA as I would like.

Mundine, if he is still anything like as good as he was when he fought Kessler would definitely be competitive with Pavlik. He is not a bad fighter at all.

I doubt this fight would happen, its just pure speculation.

IMO Mundine would school Felix Sturm, so as an Aussie, i'd like to see him go down that route, assuming Sturm gets past Sylvester. Mundine is a much better fighter than people think, but he still wouldn't have a chance against Pavlik, Kelly's workrate is too high and his punching assaults are too relentless for Mundine, he doesn't like getting hit.

Winky needs to retire or get his arse back in the ring.

IMO Abraham v Pavlik is the fight that needs to happen, and it will, with time. Winky v Pavlik would be cool, but Winky isn't doing himself any favours by taking his time, he isn't getting any younger, put up or shut up IMO.
