WBA junior middleweight champion Joachim Alcine can't wait to fight mandatory challenger, and former champion, Daniel Santos on Friday night at the Uniprix Stadium in Montreal. Even after he upset Travis Simms for the title last year, critics would still say this record was lacking good opponents. He's happy for the chance to face solid challanger like Santos. [details]

Didn't Marg go up in weight to fight santos though? So, it's not like that loss on his record should effect Marg if that was the case, he clearly was fighting guys bigger then he was used to if that was the case. His earlier losses in his career against guys I don't really know, are kind of odd but I guess he gained experienced from those fights or unless did he get robbed in those fights to Mangler? How about the Paul Williams fight mangler, did he get robbed in that?

The early losses were when he was fighting men at a young age, however guys like Julio Cesar Chavez and others fought from early ages and didn't lose...Didn't Marg go up in weight to fight santos though? The loss to Santos was him moving up, but i mean, marg is a big welter so the move up can;t be blamed
The Paul Williams loss was a straight up loss, i think he could have won if he got started earlier but he didn't so...Comment
