Paulie's got too much movement for Hatton. He won't stand there and let Hatton **** away. Hatton's stamina ain't what it used to be either. All Paulie's gotta do is move and flurry and he should win this fairly easily.

I would give Mallignaggi an outside chance if the fight was in new York as thats his hometown but now he's going to be outside his home comfort zone AND fighting Hatton in front of thousands and thousands of pumped up British fans, he hasn't got a prayer

This will go one of 2 ways

Paulie Ud - Outboxes, shows tons of movement, jabs and throws flurries occasionally at the right time, pref in the last minute, he will win..

Hatton Ud - Bullies Paulie, mauls him around and uses rough house tactics to win..

I'm hoping for a Paulie Ud since Hatton will leave the game soon.

i dont think he will outbox Hatton strange as it sounds i think he has more chance of knocking Hatton out than outboxing him cause IMO Malignaggi is to easy to hit i used to think he was an illusive fighter but after watching him against ,Cotto,Ndou 2,Ngoudgo i have a different opnion now

to beat Hatton he is gonna have to knock him out or back Hatton up and claim the centre of the ring if he boxes on the back foot he will get beat IMO cause he will take to much punishment and Hatton will just be relentlessly coming foward hitting his body

I cant see Paulie Ko Hatton. But also I didnt see Mayweather doing it either. I can see Paulie winning a brawl if he can take Hattons punch wich he can judging by Cottos fight.

Maybe Hatton will be to weight drained and get Ko´d u never know

Hatton can't fight like he did against Lazcano. Hatton was running straight into Lazcanos slow shot. Since Paulie is much faster than Lazcano, Hatton needs more side to side movement and a bit better stamina. I do think Hatton will pull of the UD though.

Paulie Malignaggi is in no way shape or form Floyd Mayweather. People might think because both are boxers what worked for Floyd is Paulies blueprint. Hatton has trouble with boxers true but with guys that can find a way too keep him off of them. Ricky's speed was even giving Floyd problems not allowing him time to think. That's why when Joe Cortez broke up the action Floyd would step back and make Ricky work to get on the inside again hoping to tire him out. Floyd is also more accurate than Paulie when he throws combinations they land opposed to Paulie who just punches at a guys gloves sometimes.

I think with Malignaggi having less than 10 knockouts means he has no real chance of hurting Hatton, he is the smaller guy with no power or strength to keep a Ricky Hatton away Paulie cant depend on Joe Cortez (theoretically speaking) to break up the action. Hatton would maul him just like he did Kosta Tzysu and WWE wrestle his way too a victory. The Jr Welterweight division is really dead right now. Everybody is at welterweight.

my point is urango hit hatton with a body shot and hatton went to clinch mode, collazo when he used his jab and some movement dominated those rounds and lazcano who is slower than paulie was able to hit hatton alot and right now i don't think lazcano or urango have more speed or boxing skills than paulie
