We are herewith making a firm offer to Shane Mosley to fight Antonio Margarito this summer for the welterweight championship. We will agree to pay a purse to Mr. Mosley of $1,100,000 for his participation in the bout. We will ask Mr. Mosley for no options or future rights regarding his career. If he defeats Antonio, which we regard as doubtful, he would be absolutely free to pursue his career in any manner he sees fit as the new welterweight champion.
