Why the hell would they do that? Malignaggi isn't a draw there and neither is Hatton.

Hattons fans would fill any arena in Vegas my friend, it was to be in New York but even though its Paulies home town they couldnt get the fans so its moved to Vegas so hatton can bring the fans and therefore the $$$$$ to the table.

I can't agree with you buddy. I wouldn't shell out money for a round trip flight and a hotel room to see Hatton fight Malignaggi. You want to talk about extremely poor ticket sales? The UK will be staying home this time around. They only flooded the USA because the magnitude of the USA VS UK match up he had with Floyd.

I think they should do it at NY, Malignaggi will bring the Italians and Hatton could bring the Brits, I'm not sure how many of Malignaggi's supporters would go to Vegas and I'm not sure how many Brits will make the trip this time around.

no my friend i disagree, Hattons fans will travel with him in the thousands, thats just the way they are. Granted there were more than expected when he faced Floyd but hey that was against the P4P #1 at the time, even in places like Boston Hatton took thousands .... i think whichever venue is decided on it will be an 80/20 split on Hatton/Malignaggi fans and i still think the venue will sell out

As long as it ain't in the UK, who cares? Paulie would have to KO him over there and he can't do that. There's enough interest in this fight that it should draw a decent crowd in Vegas, even tho it won't be a blockbuster sellout.
