Floyd is a ****ing joke. OSCAR MADE YOU WHAT YOU ARE. People didn't take any notice to Floyd until the Oscar fight. Muchless without Oscar, he wouldn't have made the huge paycheck or have people sitting in seats. It was all Oscar. There is NO fighter out there that comes close to Floyd in talent and ring generalism. PERIOD! Not Cotto,Margarito,Pac or Calzaghe. Floyd was a rising star before fighting Oscar. Actually it was the Gatti fight that put him on the public radar not Oscar. He fought 3 of the biggest draws in boxing today! Gatti,De La Hoya and Hatton. That is why the public knows who Floyd is. Couple with the fact that he's a **** and they want to see him get his ass kicked is why De La Hoya broke the record. De La Hoyas numbers aren't what they used to be. It's possible to believe he would not have broken the record without Floyd (Forbes fight). As I stated, I hate the guy's personality and agree with everyone about that. but, as a fighter, the attacks aren't necessarily correct. Not one trainer or figher in the sport would deny his skills! Not one trainer in the sport wouldn't kill to have his fighter be as skilled and smart in the ring as Floyd.
