    I agree..
I'm glad the Diaz win is fresh on everyones mind..
I will bet my car on Guzman.. Guzman will make Pacman look like an amateur at times..

Guzman needs to keep his activity up, and stay sharp..

    Guzman by SD or UD..

And yes, Bob Arum conveniantly ducked Guzman.. He did and he knows it.. Guzman is fast, has good movement and excellent defense (the best in the game, 2nd to mmay)

So I'd tell everyone to bet on Pac so I can clean up and bet on Guzman..

I wish this fight would have happened instead of Manny fighting David Diaz. Lets face it, Diaz is a alright fighter but he got his ass beat by Pacquiao for a paper title. If Manny fought Guzman, I would favor Guzman to win, and I think that Guzman is the only one who can outbox Manny to a win. Marquez tried, but he lost, whether people agree or not. Humberto Soto was seen as this unstoppable force at 130 pounds, and Guzman handled him fairly easy- that fight impressed me a lot concerning Guzman's skill level. He also stood toe to toe with Soto at certain points, and he was actually getting the better of it- he can box and brawl effectively when he needs to. I think that Guzman is the best 130 pounder out there and I think that Bob Arum knows it, which is why he doesn't want to match him with Pacquiao. However, I recently read that Arum is looking to co-promote Guzman with Sycuan Warriors Promotions, so maybe they will finally meet at 135 sometime because Guzman comes into his fights in the 140s, so you know he can make 135 easy. If the fight goes down, I would pick Guzman to win a decision.

i do not want to see a guzman-marquez fight......

        marquez-john 2 anyone?

i'd rather see manny go up against one and then the other.

classic boxer vs. slugger fights right there......

totally agree, man think about it if there were 100 legit contenders in a division would you have enough time to beat all of them without having your body take the toll on all the wars you've had? if you were pacman and fans wan't 5-10 contenders they want you to fight and only have 2-3 years till retirement what would you say?

crap.....yeah Guzrun is ****in' fast but Pac has the speed also....Style-wise Joana would give him problems but Manny can handle her and catch her on the later rds and knock the **** out of her....
                It's a late KO/TKO or a UD for Pac...

                  On Spot.

Guzman is an elite on paper and on boxing forums. He only have barrios and Soto on his resume at age 32. Everybody ducks him according to him but at the time both he and PAC we're 122 lbs champ the TOP DOGS were barrera and marquez at 126.

PAC went up in weight and challenged MAB, JMM and Erik after that. Where is Guzman during these times? why did he challenged any of the 3? now everybody is ducking him.

I'd really want PAC againts Guzman to shut down the hype. I prefer it againts JMM or Hatton.
