He has very good power but his resume is very lacking. (aside from vicente)

Does anyone here give him anymore than a puncher's chance over Manny?

I see him eating nothing but straight lefts and right hooks all night long...... or at least until he gets koed.......

valeros only chance is landing a big shot on manny, thats it. and i dont even think his power is really that great. honmo was giving him hell and taking his best shots before the fight was stopped on cuts. so yeah, maybe a big counter shot on mannys jaw could give him the w, but mannys speed(and no, domain, valero is not faster than pac) and power are too much for him.

that's exactly how i feel. he just seems so slow footed and manny is gonna be able to land first with his handspeed.

plus valero as a southpaw is more open to manny's right hook.

we all see how effective manny's hook is on a guy fighting from a southpaw stance. look at the diaz fight and the last round of the 1st morales fight when erik switched to southpaw.

Unless Valero hit Pacman with something crazy i can not see him winning. Pacman is not the most technical guy so i do not know if it would be a "lucky" punch but as the fight wares on i think that Pacman will tear Valero up more and more. Something like 90/10 in favor of Pacman and 10 might be generous

i'm a Pacman's fan but i think valero has a chance.

Valero may be slow or poor on defence, which i am sure his camp is working on right now, he still has a super-KO punch.. having an impressive 19 1st rnd KO streak is something to think about..in fact it's mind boggling for me, you cant see that in anyone's resume nowadays(or ever)..or in Pac's in particular..

Pac may dance around him, sneaking in and out before he gets hit..but pac tends to get over-confident sometimes and stays in place while raining punches on his opponent..well that is the time valero might land a killer counter.

and pac is not as hardy as you may think, he's is just about average in taking punches so he really might go down hard if hit by a one-hitter..
