after the draw hbo offered marquez and manny $750k each ($1.5 million purse) for an immediate rematch between manny and juan. juan turned it down.

you either choose to ignore that fact or don't know. if you don't know then quit talking and look it up. they offered manny $6 mil. for a rubber match. manny made that fighting diaz. the move to 135 was already planned before the 2 even had their rematch. why do you think david was being showcased on the undercard? the goal for manny is a big payday with hatton. getting a belt at 135 was the first step to that.

A fight with Hatton would be a great event and would be a exciting fight but i feel Marquez deserves another shot at beating pac a third time and getting the decision he deserves.

JMM is a close chapter in manny's career. Yes is was close and the first was a draw, but he doesn't need to go back to JMM when there a bigger purses and bigger names for him out there.
