the headbutt, although probably accidental, was the MAJOR contribution in ending the fight, Torres was badly hurt by that and but for the headbutt would probably not have been so badly mangled by the punch that followed.

and for the record i agree with Tunney, it hit him nearer the eye than the chin.

The headbutt was the only reason IMO that Holt won. Torres fell into the ropes and was pretty much out from the headbutt and was helpless in the ropes before Holt punched him.

How the **** did Jay Nady not see that headbutt? He was in perfect view...

anyone who watches the fight and especially that aerial replay....must accept the same....i cannot say Holt would not have won later on in the fight..but the only reason why Torres was so vulnerable with his left arm stuck in the ropes, was because of the vicious head collision.

Torres must not remember, but once he watches the replay..he will see the same.

rematch please.

His knees were buckled from that headbutt alone. I do give credit to both fighters, that was the best round I have seen in a long time. Torres has some amazing power... I want to see a rematch.
