You know, Margarito did stop Cotto in violent fashion. But come on now. Cotto had his moments too. Alot of moments! The guy was picking marg apart for the first six rounds. He also was catching him nice after the six round. Cotto just got caught with a punch that landed perfect enough change the tempo and Marg took full advantage of that opportunity. Cotto's game plan was just off a little. Minor adjustments in the second half of the fight and he would have won by points. It was just Margaritos night. It's easy to forget what happened early when you see someone loose like that but Cotto had something there. He could have won this fight. He looked to be visually in good condition before the fight and I'm sure he was. I do know this, I've had many rounds in the trenches and I think his busted up nose effected him a great deal. I've had that happen to me and with as much blood as there was from the nose, I'm sure it effected his breathing a great deal. The busted nose was due to one punch that landed perfect. That's what changed the tempo of the fight. Cotto needs a little time off, a couple of tuner fights to get the demonds out of his head and he should fight Margarito again!
