that KO punch was sick. Headbutt got him good, but even without it, that right woulda finished him regardless.

The headbutt helped a lot, but Holt started throwing back on the ropes and I think he would have managed to back him up. Holt wasn't even hurt that bad. Torres was out cold.

Good job for Jay Nady rushing in there after Holt went down the second time. Torres could have hit him with something ugly.

that is true but how do you get to land a perfect right hand without the headbutt? he's not gonna fall into the ropes and drop his hands just out of the clear blue.

Im pretty ****ing sure that if Torres hand't gotten so ****ing hyped he would've finished this guy.

I mean he knocked him down with the first counter puncher he thrown over Holt's jab. I mean damn, then he gets careless. I aint watch the fight live and im type tipsy because I was drinking. Just downloaded the dam fight. (it was 55MB so I thought someone got KO'ed quick) and I was right. I got hyped when Torres dropped him first then even more when the got a slight Knockdown the second time. Then the headbutt comes.. I knew that wasn't a punch cause it was so fast! Then that right hand.. I seen Torres and he was OUT! I knew it was over. A third fight must happen, if not.. I dont know what to say. Torres would win if he doesn't get careless.

That right hand was a howitzer. I mean, u get hit with that right hand flush, ur getting KOed.

The Headbutt was bad, but u cant blame holt for that. Torres was turning in and Holt was looking it up, it was completely accidental.

the KO shot was one of the most brutal i have seen in years. A PERFECT one-two. PERFECT. And Holt has always been a big puncher

This is exactly what i was trying to say

This is what im trying to say below. very well said
You really have to look how things unfolded. That headbutt sent Torres stumbling into the ropes, Holt pounced and caught him with a vicious right hand as he bounced off the ropes. I am not entirely convinced Torres wouldn't have gone down on his own.

Thats really a shame though because live it was such a great round of boxing, but knowing that the end was started by a headbutt leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

I don't know how you can say he seemed okay when he stumbled into the ropes and got caught with the KO punch bouncing off the ropes. If the ropes were not there, there is no question in my mind that he would have hit the canvas from the headbutt.

This is a bummer because I was rooting for Holt to KO Torres legit.

The headbut was like a perfect left hook from Cotto, I have NO doubt that the headbut helped Holt but he finished it with the right hand.

The left hook to the body is what froze Torres...not the headbut. That was a clean bodyshot.

Holt got hit while he was down and showed a lot of heart by regrouping.
