My dude. That headbutt staggered Torres.

    Open your eyes.

He moved back and the ropes helped him stay up!

A third fight must happen, if not, then who cares. Go their seperate ways.

        You open your eyes..

It was the clean liver shot that made Torres drop his hands and get in trouble.

If Holt got a rematch then a 3rd match is a must!

Showtime is the real king of rubber matchs!

Quintanna and now Torres deserver a rubber match! on Showtime!

The bout served as the main event of a special Saturday night edition of Showtime's ShoBox: The New Generation series.

Both fighters came out swinging in what instantly became the frontrunner for 2008's Round of the Year. It appeared as if Holt's shaky chin would do him in; a right hand by Torres had the New Jersey native on the canvas thirteen seconds into the fight.

"I was OK," Holt said of the first knockdown. "I got momentarily distracted from a punch I didn't see coming."

Referee Jay Nady would issue what would be the first of three counts. Holt recovered but found himself on the canvas seconds later, though insisting it was a knockdown that shouldn't have been.

"I was slipping, I wouldn't call that a knockdown. I was off-balance and throwing punches, trying to keep him at bay." [details]
the first knockdown was a flash knock down... holt was fine. the 2nd knockdown looked like a slippage, but he was taking fire and his gloves touched the canvas.

the headbutt looked pretty bad cause torres got wobble badly by it, but it was accidental. the knockout punch didn't look that hard (on youtube) but the way torres slumped on the ropes told the story.

can't wait for the rubbermatch... and yes there should be a rubbermatch.

One of the best rounds I can ever remember! Holt looks hurt after being dropped twice and then he puts Torres away with one bomb (aided by a headbutt) and Torres was OUT cold like I have never seen before. wild, great 61 second fight!!!!!!

Two controversial decisions in two fights. I am thinking this rivalry is pretty good.

I've watched the replay about 20 times already and I still can't tell if there was a headbutt or not. It looks like it might've been headbutt. We'd need to see another angle (maybe from the top?) to be able to know for sure.

Either way, I won't go as far as to say it was a lucky punch from Holt, but it's as close to one as you can get.

needs to be a rubbermatch, hopefully the head butt/ k.o won't affect torres in the long run
