But the, you must have done it to be able to criticise just doesn't really cut it really. Humans judge things daily, they don't necessarily have to have done them to be able to judge.

At the top level of anything, in the public eye, your open to criticism, some constructive, some not. How it goes. Most are constructive hence it's a kinda democracy really, don't let a minority totally shade your view, or tell everyone they need to box in order to criticise any boxer, that's out of context. All I'm saying.
Perhaps I make my point too blunt Sir sometimes which attracts adverse responses.
If you could see my tongue in cheek or facial expression...you would refrain from angry response.
Normally most intelligent persons as yourself see that I am trying to make a point....not just being a complete *******.
It just winds me up when I read the word "EXPOSED" for starters.

The guy who made that "Fight" should have his licence revoked.

I must admit it is funny to see Charlie take 3 minutes to load that "700lbs left hook" on the bag ....then miss and wind up tangled in his underpants.
Businessmen who want to unload on store clerks and say they were undefeated pro boxers go to Arkansas to build up their "records".

      Fact.

        Hey I dont doubt it.
But Charlie Z should never have been in that ring.
Regardless of how **** his opposition was.
He should have been having at LEAST 20-30 amateur bouts.

Nah wasn't really angry man. Don't slip into the same generalist ways though dude, I mean yer to be fair the thread title and post wasn't explaining what you've on to say so. But I understand and respect your point. Just think saying you musta boxed to judge is kinda the wrong angle.

It's good you defend boxers though they certainly do get more criticism than athletes in other sports, nature of the boxing game to an extent but still. A lot of kids don't really gauge let alone respect, what a boxers trying to achieve in the ring i.e tactics, they just get bored with no hard shots then mouth off, which is annoying!

How good do you think the Arkansas amateur program is, outside of JT and Dominick Guinn during the 90s? Not too many stick around for the amateur seasoning to be a professional. The guidelines and qualifications to earn a professional license in Arkansas is much lower than say New York or New Jersey. Most notable Arkansas fighters of late have come from the toughman circuit.
