Roy jones in a no lose situation

ok if he beats calzaghe it would enhance his legacy even more

and even if he loses most people realise he is shot and wont really harm his legacy in any way and also he walks away with a alot of money,

so really isnt roy in a perfect situation?

Jones is definitely in a good position in this fight, a win would be huge for him and even if he loses, he just needs to put in a good effort to raise his stock.

Calzaghe will make a lot of money from the fight but he's in a lose-lose situation legacy wise because if he wins, he beat an old man, if he loses, people will call him overrated and pretty much trash everything he's done in his career, the only thing Calzaghe can gain from this fight is money.

Yeah I brought this up in another thread. This fight is great for Jones and pretty bad for Calzaghe. A Calzaghe loss is terrible for Calzaghe and a Calzaghe win for Calzaghe does very little.

Calzaghe wants it this way though, he likes that pressure.

Pretty much. Some might flame him for losin to Joe C but he'll still have a couple mil to ease his pain if he does.
