    Finally: Torres-Holt 2 - Predictions???

Its making me sick seeing all the mayweather threads at the top here....
this fight had many exciting moments in their first one (mostly because of the lack of control outside the country), but this one should be thrilling as well..

    whats the prediction?

most seem to me to say either Torres KO/TKO or Holt decision..

    Torres by TKO/KO/Disqualification

    14
    Torres by Decision

I've been going back and forth on this one. I will take Holt.

it also seems like Torres has taken alot of time off, not fighting since their first fight September of last year... two months shy of a year's layoff..

I'll take Torres, but he'll have to catch Holt to win. Seems like a 50/50 fight. Hopefully it will be entertaining to watch.

I'm slightly leaning towards Holt but I'm not sure. He was training down the street from me but I never made it to the gym to watch him. I like Holt but he needs to find himself as a fighter. He kills a lot of time running. I'd say if he gets Torres hurt, finish him right there. He doesn't need a long drawn out fight.

Then again, Torres does have that equalizer.

Holt by UD but Torres has a punchers chance.

Yeah Holt spent a lot of time running from relatively feather fisted Arnaoutis. Kendall is a very fast, slick boxer, but his chin is suspect. I'm not betting on this one.

Okay, i'm predicting Torres KO/TKO somewhere in the mid-rounds.. ill say round 9

(At +200, Torres has only had four of his 32 wins not end in knockout.. and we all know Holt can be put on his ass..)

Holt is a local legend where I'm from in north Jersey. I never saw him run in the ring until he got stopped by Thomas Davis, he was a puncher who fought 1:30 of the round and then moved, not ran.

When he was *****-footing against Arnaoutis, I was like WTF? That's not his game, he was getting nothing at all done like that. The Tackie fight was unwatchable.

His problem is that he drops his hands when he punches. He'll throw right hands from his hip, sometimes from too close.

I like his power but his defense isn't that good when he's stationary. He doesn't move his head enough and he doesn't keep his hands high enough.

On paper he should have this after dominating the first 10 rounds. The only question is how much does the KO affect his confidence?

He also has to remember that this is now and that was then.
