According to Interbox, who promote Lucian Bute (22-0, 18KOs), the Canadian star will defend his IBF super middleweight title against mandatory challenger Librado Andrade (27-1, 21KOs) on October 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. [details]

My two cents: As the thread suggests, Lucian will be "tested." It will be similar to the Kessler-Andrade fight where Kessler won heavily on the cards, but had to fight every minute of every round because Andrade has an iron jaw, a relentless will, and a killers instinct. Bute is in another class though and will win s UD before taking on (and I believe beating) the elite of the division (Kessler, Jermain, Froch).

I'm a huge Andrade fan. His iron chin, stamina, will to win are all just remarkable. But I think Bute will give him a hard time getting into range. His incessant upper body movement and counterpunching skills are top notch. The key to victory lies in the distance between the tow fighters. In close range combat, Andrade will clearly hurt Bute and may be able to score one knocdown or two. Probably knockout, stoppage, or decision by a wide margin. In middle or long range combat, Bute will prevail and emerge victorious by way of unanimous decision. Either way, this will be a kind of exam for both guys. If Bute retains his title, he will be able to make a successful US debut very soon. Should Andrade win, he'll sell PPVs well.
