If you look at it objectively, it's easy to see why people like Pacquiao more than Floyd! No, not because of race. It's because Manny's a more exciting fighter, and a better man outside the ring.

What??! Kelly Pavlik is one of my favorite fighters and he's pretty white and has not lost to any fighter (so it's not the we own you so do your thing factor as it is with Shane Mosley, Bernard Hopkins, Jermain Taylor who are all cool of a sudden since they all lost and are not really serious contenders anymore), i like the guy, he's a good fighter and together with Klitschko (although this one is weaker) the only white fighter who deserves the place he's at. I'm no racist, i just can't bear all the hate here. What i am a racist if i say that ukranian guy fighting last night was frustratingly slow? Should i be fake and say i like what i saw to be all green an full of virtual points?
Guess what i like Pacquiao too. I think he's the best right now and fully deserves the p4p crown for all it's worth.
What i can't stand is how the media treats black fighters. Two good examples: Nate Campbell and Joel Casamayor. If they were white the whole world wouldn't shut up about them, "the Cinderella man" factor would be all over them, they both beat young, undefeated fighters while heavy underdogs! You can't ask for more than that. What they get instead? ****, not even a tuneup fight after those big wins, talks of retiring on top after a long career? Hell no! "You gotta be humbled!" frame of mind right there right?! Damn!
On the other hand Calzaghe defeats 43 year old Bernard Hopkins, by split decision after being dropped on the first round. He gets another 40 year old (soon to be) fighter and a retirement plan laid down for him, which no one contests.
