EMANUEL "THE DRUNKEN MASTER" AUGUSTUS WINS THE WBO ORIENTAL WELTERWEIGHT TITLE WITH A SPECTACULAR KO VICTORY!!

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 4, 2008) "Slick" Nick Sampson & Macke Roberts of Sin City Sports & Entertainment would like to congratulate our fighter welterweight boxer Emanuel "The Drunken Master" Augustus on his spectacular second round KO victory last night in Sydney, Australia over Jakkirt Suwunnalirt of Thailand for the WBO Oriental Welterweight Title. Emanuel Augustus is one of the most talented and entertaining fighters in the sport of pro boxing. With Sin City Sports & Entertainment firmly behind him Emanuel is very focused, he has been staying active and keeping his ring skills sharp with three fights so far in 2008. Sin City Sports & Entertainment and Emanuel Augustus would like to thank Sultan Promotions & the WBO for the opportunity to fight for the WBO Oriental Welterweight Title. We look forward to getting ranked in the WBO top 15, we want to move on to bigger and better fights and make a strong run for a world title.

Emmanuel Augustus is a very stand up guy and a good fighter. He has been around the block all too many times, and time and time again he may come up short in his big title fights, but the point is is that he gets in there with any man who wants a fight. He's been ducked by many guys coming up who didnt wanna take a hard fight. On any given night Augustus has the ability to be nearly any fighter in the light welterweight division. He's the definition of a road warrior. His fight with "Irish" Micky Ward was a thing of boxing beauty. A grueling inside fight with both men pushing each other to the limit. Voted the fight of the year in 2001, They combined to throw more then 2000 punches in 10 rounds, with Augustus landing 421 to Micky Ward's 320. One of the best fights that i have ever seen. I love watching the man fight, and look forward to seeing him in action again!!
