    Juan Manuel Marquez???
    Joan Guzman???
Pacquiao just got there and beat up on the weakest link in the division, I can't justify putting him above Campbell who has all the belts and Casamayor who has accomplished a lot more in the division.

I'd say Campbell, Casamayor, Pacquiao, and after that it doesn't really matter. You can throw everyone elses numbers around, but if you aren't 1,2 or 3, then you're just fighting to get there.

Agree with Pac being #3, he has only fought once.

People forget that Campbell has three of the belts. The reason why is because for all intents and purposes, he was supposed to lose to Juan Diaz. Diaz was supposed to be the new star of the division and Campbell was supposed to be a speed bump. Then Pacquiao comes in and beats on David Diaz, who was the weakest link among the titlists, and now the division is his.

I'll say this till I'm blue in the face, but Pacquiao isn't the lightweight champion...

Until he beats the lightweight champion.

Marquez and Guzman should be able to get into the top 5 in the near future but they shouldn't be ranked at lightweight right now because they haven't had a fight there yet.
I tend to agree with this one.

In a Just World (Based on lightweight accomplishments and/or Junior Lightweight accomplishments on guys looking to move up)

                  1. Nate Campbell
                  2. Joel Casamayor
                  3. Manny Pacquiao
                  4. Jose Armando Santa Cruz
                  5. Michael Katsidis
                  6. Juan Diaz
                  7. Juan Manuel Marquez
                  8. Joan Guzman
                  9. David Diaz
                  10. Soto/Valero

My order of best fighters in the division
                  1. Pacquiao
                  2. Juan Manuel Marquez
                  3. Guzman
                  4. Casamayor
                  5. Nate Campbell
                  6. Michael Katsidis
                  7. Juan Diaz
                  8. Soto/Valero
                  9. Jose Armando Santa Cruz
                  10. David Diaz

The second list was much harder to formulate than the first. The 1st 5 players are all soooo talented and who can even guess with Valero. I feel that this division is even more stacked than welterweight!

manny is the best fighter in the division, its not a question of who he's beaten there i dont think, IMO he COULD beat casamayor, campbell, j. diaz etc, rankings can be based on theoretical acheivements not just actual ones surely, that makes manny #1, although i think his stay at LW might be brief

is soto underrated or is he really not that good in most eyes?
me thinks he can mix it in with the rest.
