Now thats not a bad idea for a fight. It would be a good sink or swim third heavyweight fight after two relatively easier transition fights. If he can beat Valuev, which I doubt he'd get a shot at unless he cuts a deal with their promoters, then I'd say go for it.

I've seen many cruiserweight champions come from domination to termination in the heavyweight division. Only Holyfield has really proven to be able to make that leap in his prime and sustain a seriously successful heavyweight career.

That would be an interesting promotional twist. If he could show that he can negate whatever size differences, if any, then he'd have proven himself a serious and viable heavyweight threat.

Until then, he's just another cruiserweight looking to make heavyweight dollars.

Probably, they keep throwing him nobodies. Who cares, he could fight Hong Man Choi if he wants to, it's not like I have to watch or anything

This would be a boring fight, but Wlad would win it wit the jab. In a battle of big men, he's faster, has the better jab, and has more power. Valuev's opponents can't hurt him cuz they gotta reach up to hit him, and the punches lose power travelin that longer arc. Wlad is only a lil shorter than him so he'd take that advantage away. Not sayin he'd stop Valuev, but he should take a comfortable UD. Hittin that big body could tire him tho, so there is danger of Wlad gettin KO'd late in the fight.

Providing Valuev and Wlad both win there respected fights, This fight should really happen. It's about the only fight at Heavyweight(apart from Wlad/Haye) that would interest me.

wlad is just much too quick for valuev. valuev has a good chin but tends to walk into punches. if you walk into a wlad right hand its goodnight regardless of chin. valuev gets stopped late in a one sided fight. wlad loves fighters that are right in front of him
