If only everything is as black and white as you see it. Man, it'd be an easy world. There could be plenty of reasons to turn down a fight even though it would be for a career high payday. There could be a bigger fight in terms of money or prestige (unification fight, linear title) that could make you pass up the money. It could have been offered on short notice. It could have been a risky fight that no one would have given you any sort of credit for if you won it as well. It also could be a fight that no one except the man with the money really cares to see. There are infinite possibilities.

Ducking is a word used by the mentally handicapped on boxing forums. You take the fight that makes the most overall sense, not in just one aspect. Actual duckings are extraordinarily rare.

            ur welcome dawg

see I dont see it as if Margarito is my favorite fighter (he isnt BTW) then I have to hate on Cotto or anyone else in his division. Boxing is what I watch NOT fighters

with all due respect it is happening now. In my eyes if Margarito wins and Mayweather decides to fight him, all the ducking threads should come to an end
