Where is Winky Wright? It's been a year now since his loss to Hopkins.

Yet he's still in some p4p top ten rankings.

I was hoping to see Pavlik knock him out, but it looks like that fight is never going to happen.

    Is Winky retired?

i actually made a thread similar to this earlier,

i dont think we will see him fight again,

he wants big money, no big fighers want to fight hin,

    high risk no reward,

    he is getting old,

so i think we may have seen the last of him as a fighter

He thinks he's entitle to a title shot.

But with no notable wins above 154, and on the heels of two straight unsuccessful challenges, he's entitled to ****.

I loved Wink but he needs to face reality: two top ten middleweights and THEN call out Pavlik or Abraham.

      He also ducked Kessler

winky needs to stop pricing himself out of fights. winky should realize that despite everything he is still just a negative and defensive fighter - a great one at that though and one that has had skills not overrated but maybe overglamourised. i will always respect fighters like winky and hopkins but it will always be hard to admire or aspire to them in the same way i do with pacman, calzaghe and cotto.

winky needs to have a fight with anyone because hes been out of it so long, maybe irsh duddy, miranda, abraham or pavlik.

but i agree with KAYJAY he needs to fight some top 10 fighters first and then maybe trat to think about pavlik and abraham.

A draw (or as many would see it a win) against the MW Champ at the time is a big win IMO.....Also why not give Winky credit for beating Tito since everyone wants to make a big deal about Roy beating him at 170.....

Anyway Winky simply has outpriced himself and nobody wants to really take a chance with him because he is capable of beating anyone at 154 and 160 on a good night. He'll fight again, He's not just gonna retire like that.

Winky should look to make a fight with Duddy or Mora at 160. Both are fighters he would beat and both have nice unbeaten records. He could make a mega fight from there.

He thinks he is huge and he can just walk back into the big time. But that's not how it works.
