Jermain taylor shud be fighting winky instead of lacey!
Wtf has lacey done to deserve a fight with jermain taylor? beat up peter manfredo? oh wow thats gd.. and jermain shud be fighting carl froch for a title but instead he needs a tune up.
Then why doesnt he fight someone that can pose a threat to him? winky is a good opponant because he had a draw with him so this can settle the score and some people believed winky beat jermain but this fight wil give jermain creds if he beats winky.

I think Jermain needs a tune up before going in with top fighters again and Lacy is a nam so whatever. Might as well..

Froch might test him but i think Jermain will win. That fight gets him a belt so why not? He should be more worried about that than anything else right now. I ain't usually big on paper alphabelt belts but the crown's gettin divided cuz Joe C moved up, so start takin steps to re-unify it. If he could get Winky to come up to 168 I'd love to see that rematch. I always believed Winky got a raw deal on that decision, and the fight was damn good. A Lacy fight would be fun and could make Taylor some $ but it means less than either Froch or Winky.

Personally I think there are parallels between Taylor vs Froch and Taylor vs Pavlik I and I think thats the reason he doesn't want the fight.

Froch is basically in the position that Pavlik was prior to facing Taylor, a hard puncher, limited technical ability and not much speed who Taylor is expected to beat easily. The problem is that the guy hasn't actually been tested that hard so no-one really knows how good he is or isn't. The Taylor fight represents the chance for him to prove it.

See what I'm saying? If Froch is what he appears to be and hasn't been hiding any alarming weaknesses then the fight might very well turn out like Taylor v Pavlik I, he's an unknown quantity really.

Taylor is fighting at 168 now and Winky looked like **** when he fought Hopkins at 170. I don't even know if Winky would want to fight at that weight again. (well, minus 2 lbs.)
