I've never seen Ottke, so I don't know about him, but I really don't rate Jermain Taylor at all. I am not able to understand what it is that so many see in him, since to me has no major weapons or anything to make him stand out from the crowd.
He isn't an incredible boxer, does not have lightning speed, is not very powerful, has poor stamina and a questionable mentality. He has a nice quick jab and isn't slow by any means, but really thats all he seems to have going for him.
Evern in his best wins, against Hopkins, he did not look good and would have lost had Hopkins been able to find a bit more energy. I think people rate him so highly simply because of those two Hopkins wins and don't see the middling boxer in front of them.
