I dont know how much stock to put on the wieght stuff. A while back him and his team decided to go down in wieght. It was only for one fight though, cause he looked terrible.

I was an early supporter of his but he definetly disappointed with that loss to Honorio, he showed he was beatable. I see on boxrec that the Honorio loss came right after he tested the waters at a lower weight so maybe that had something to do with it, I dont know.Im just not sure how good he really is.

Hopefully Guerrero will get his promoter problems straightened out soon. His career is stagnating in the meanwhile.

I think the reason Luevano looked so bad against Santiago was because he changed his style in this fight to be more action oriented which was a big mistake, he needs to go back to his smooth counterpunching.

it wasnt the weight, remember when Terdsak Jeandang caught him and knocked him down? Guerrero is a better fighter than him, if you can get close to Luevano, he has problems and his chin can get touched, The guy isnt a world beater, it wasnt the weight, you find someone who can close the distance on him, and hes going to either struggle or get knocked out. Terdsak was just too ****ing slow, but someone like guerrero has better footwork and would probably lay his ass out.

I don't think he would get KO'd. He's way too tough. He has taken some brutal shots right on the chin, gone wobbly or down and got straight back up to beat on the other guy like nothing had happened! He's one tough mofo. I really like him.

I think he could be a world beater if he learns to not get caught up on the inside. As you and silencers said he can get caught up on the inside and then starts ****ing instead of sticking his jab and getting back and countering again. He has to stop that **** otherwise, soon enough, he will get caught by someone who can fight on the inside better than he can. Unless he can learn to get back out when someone is pressuring him on the inside he will get beat again sooner or later. Nonetheless, he is still easily one of my favourite fighters at the moment.

A friend of mine was old school buddies with Luevano in high school. He'd kick it with him all the time and ****, went over to each others houses. He told me how he saw him **** up two mexican cholo brothers at the same time that happened to weigh about 150 each during lunch. They were both in boxing at the time too. One of the brothers got knocked the **** out cold for 20 minutes supposedly and they were gonna call the ambulance. If you don't believe me check it out, he went to Workman high school in hacienda heights.

He needs to move up in weight, he gets hit and he turns to jelly. He can take some shots, but others will shake him up. He's lucky he wasn't fightin Robert, cause he probably would have gotten laid out. But he definantly needs to move up in weight, he looks everything but comfortable when he gets pressured.
