The first rule of boxing, styles make fights. Your statement is hog wash.Originally posted by WLAD OWNSKrasiniqi clearly beat Brian Minto by UD.....Krasniqi was then dominated and stopped in 5 rounds by Tony Thompson in his next fight.
This proves that Tony Thompson is a good fighter and a quality credible opponent for Wlad.
Just thought I'd point that out because some morons on here are bashing Thompson saying the fight is a mismatch and he isnt a worthy opponent.Comment

Poore is a very poor opponent.
Povetkin fought Cerrone Fox in his second pro fight, and Sasha found him to be an easy win. Fox looked bad against Rahman and Tua as well. Anyone who can be beaten by Cerrone must be either a shot fighter or a real tomato can.
Fox has won only ONE of his past NINE fights, and that was against Poore.
Minto should be fighting other "top 100" heavyweights, instead of someone like Poore.Last edited by The Hammer; 07-02-2008, 06:59 PM.Comment

Holy **** is John Poore bad.
It's a lesson we all know well already. Just because a guy is 18-2 with 18 knockouts doesn't mean ****.
I don't see how he has any chance because at least Minto has a modicum of skill whereas Poore is older and has none. Kiss of death.
Good night Irene, I mean Poore.Comment

Cerrone Fox is terrible, i saw him fight against David Tua and wondered who the hell he could have possibly beatenHe's a ticket-seller and an attraction. The goal is to keep him winning so he can keep moving tickets. Its hard to say Minto is underrated when he hasn't been fighting top opposition.
Minto is in very soft here with John Poore. Look at this video of him getting blown away by Cerrone Fox, who is 8-8 right now.
