SPORTS ILLUSTRATED: "Calzaghe seems intent on avoiding the undefeated PAVLIK"

    The new Sports Illustrated.

They also said that, ""At 39 Jones is no Kelly Pavlik."

Pacquiao standing over Diaz is one of the opening photos for the magazine, and they got a page dedicated to his performance.

    That's a joke.

Surely any boxing writer knows that Pavlik wouldn't have an outside chance to win a single round against Joe. Joe could literally beat him onehanded. I don't know why anyone clamors for this.

yes, thats probably why every boxing "expert" calls it an even fight, and why pretty much every fan in the sport is clamoring for it.

Just gotta suck it up dude, Calzaghe took the easy way out against Jones, even though he is still gonna get beat the **** up pretty badly. I guess u'll change ur mind then

Jones is a tougher fight for Joe than Pavlik is.

Well your right about him ducking Pavlik, but you sound ******ed kball when you say that a shot roy jones jr is going to pull an upset off.

Thats total bull****, and I don't even care if the fights close. If the fights a close win for Calzaghe he should be more embarrased by the fact that a shot roy jones jr could make a close fight against him.

I agree that Calzaghe would beat Pavlik, but to say Pavlik would get shutout is ridiculous....Pavlik is NOT Jeff Lacy, he would actually be competitive and give Calzaghe a tough fight.

u read the quote i just posted?

Hell no he isnt. JOnes isnt close to his prime. he is a LOT more flat footed and stationary then he used to be. Its tailor made for a guy like Calzaghe who just runs in and flails away.

But it wont matter, Jones will catch with a counter left, and finish him off shortly after. i cant wait
