I think it is ridiculous when Americans on this forum take a swipe at Britain's NHS and our education. I believe it's 10 million who are not insured on a permanent basis, and some of them are illegal immigrants. Some of the higher numbers are too high because if you are not covered for a week during a year then you are added to the no-insured pile, which is not really fair. This happens when you switch job and your insurance is paid by your employer.
