Joe Calzaghe, with wins over Kessler and Hopkins.

Pavlik second: 2 wins over Taylor

I'll say Pavlik with Calzaghe a close second.

They put so many boxers with only 1 MMA fighter......the boxing fans will be divided in voting, while all MMA fans will be unanimous. It's bull****.

I think it's either Pavlik or Calzaghe, if it had been from May-June 08, it'd be Pavlik no doubt because that would have included his knockout of Miranda as well.

Cotto was nominated last year and they had a picture of his brother.

                    Very good point.

Still has to be Mayweather though.

I know this is a boxing forum but I would have to say that St.Pierre's accomplishments in the mma in 07-08 would rank higher. let me put it this way, if st.pierre is the #1 fighter in his division, than he beat #2, #3 and #4 in the past year.
