Michael Watson. He was better then Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn. Watson would have been a handful of anyone around at the time he was active. His accident is still hard to take.

Langford, Burley, Packey McFarland, Mike Gibbons, Peter Jackson, Joe Choynski, Billy Petrolle, Holman Williams, Joe Jeannette, Lew Tendler, etc., etc., etc...There was a host of championship (and HOF) caliber fighters that didn't win a title during the early days of the sport, and plenty of them didn't even get a shot during the days when there was only eight world titles to go for.
