Why Shouldnt Pac Fight Hatton Next?

Everyone is missing the point. There's a reason why Pac and his team said that they really werent thinking about Hatton and that fight is far off and now have changed there mind after the Diaz win. Its what I talked about in that Pac-Guzman thread. They know that these LW guys are definatly capable of beating him. He's not fighting old small guys like MAB & EM or fighting overrated guys like JMM who has no other big win on his resume but is seen as a legend for some reason.

Now he will be fighting guys close to his size and are very good right now. Dont get me wrong, they still think he will beat those LW guys but they wouldnt be shocked if he lost either. They dont feel that way about those guys he's been fighting. They always think he should and will beat those Mexican guys. These new guys they feel they can beat but they know that it could also go the other way. Therefore it makes you think that if you can possibly lose to these guys then why not just go straight for Hatton where its huge money, probably not a ton tougher of a fight, and if you lose it wont be seen as bad. If Pac loses to Guzman, Diaz, Katsidis, Campbell, or Casamayor then he takes a huge step back and loses the big money Hatton fight. Even the most die hard Pac fan must admit that it wouldnt be a total shock if he lost to any of those guys. If thats the case then you take the Hatton fight now. Is Hatton a ton tougher then Guzman? He probably isnt that much bigger and its a much bigger fight, not to mention it doesnt hurt much if you lose. Think about that guys.

Hatton is obviously the bigger stronger guy but Pac is also huge with the best body in the sport. Pac is also by far the fresher fighter right now and I think they saw how Magee & Collazo gave Hatton problems with that Southpaw style. Add to that the fact that Hatton will have all the pressure on him so if Pac starts fast then Hatton will lose alot of confidence and his fans will get super quiet

I think it is very unlikely that Pacqiao will lose to any of the current LWs. Though there are some good boxers, not a single one of them is on the level of the Barrera or Marquez that Pacman beat. If he'd looked small and weak for 135 I'd say differently, but to me he looked fine, so I think he will be.

You guys think that a small older MAB is the same as a huge young LW? The Diaz that Pac fought was way beneath these guys. He's the same guy who really just lost to Morales after Pac decapitated him twice and Raheem shut him out. Those other LW's are on a whole new level and I really believe that Pac's team is seriously weighing the risk and if its even halfway close then they would rather fight Hatton for all the pluses that I named instead of risking losing it all

i think the LW division is a much stronger and more intersting division than LWW right now and Pacman should stick around there for a while before taking on Hatton

Marquez will show you how overrated he is when he handles Casamayor with ease.

seems like he's fighting alot of older just leaving there prime ratehr then entering it guys, such as Hatton. I mean I like Hatton but he was a beast before the PBF fight and trained hard and his hardest ever against Floyd and was knocked out, that type of **** lingeres in the head of a weak-minded fighter and I think Hatton is weak-mined example his off-life drinking, eating etc.. However I think Pac is to small to hurt Hatton and Hatton would Kosta his ass!

Thats definatly true but were just talking about 1 fight. There is no way he's going to stay there to fight Paulie and the other garbage at 140. Its 1 fight and then he comes right back to LW where he will be a Super Star if he wins and wont be hurt that bad if he loses
