WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm has promised to get a measure of revenge when he faces American rival Randy Griffin on Saturday at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle, Germany. The two fought to a draw last October. Sturm battered undefeated Jamie Pittman in April, while Griffin has not seen action since their October meeting. Sturm was upset with the draw decision and plans to start quicker to leave nothing in doubt. [details]

Paper champion
Sturm's last opponent, Pittman, was essentially a glorified amateur with no business fighting for a title. Sturm will beat the mediocre Griffin at home this time, but it would be nice for him to step up and fight one of the big boys. At this point I wouldn't bet on him beating Sylvester, let alone any of the really top middleweights like Pavlik and AbrahamComment

I want Kraniqi to predict that he will lose to an up and comer.
And Sturm is gonna have a stiff test with Griffin. If he wins it, I think Sylvester,Pavlik, and AA will all have his number.
They better keep him in Deutschland and away from the big guns.
He's got some nice skills, but his chin will give out, sooner rather than later.Comment
