First off I am taking Wlad to win this fight by a ko around 4-6 rounds but I am also trying to think of ways Wlad could be beat. Thompson is a skilled southpaw that likes to work the jab from what I have seen. If Thompson moves around which doesn't seem like his strengths he may have a decent chance. Corrie Saunders was a southpaw and he ko'd Wlad. Thompson should move around and give Wlad different angles in this fight.
Another thing Thompson needs to do is dodge that right. Clit loves to work that jab which is fine, eat the jab but when the deadly right comes in dodge and then hit. If Thompson is able to dodge the right he will have a home run shot all day. Brewster did this and in their first meeting was able to beat him(dont want to hear about the draining or poisoning excuses. A loss is a loss.)
3rd be aggressive. Don't be Ibramov or the usual guy that allows Klitchko to dictate pace. No looping punches but straight jab and a forceful punch return can get Klitchko reeling. The guy can't fight going back so apply the pressure like some guys have done(McCline comes to mind).
What else you think can be done for Thompson to bring home a belt?
