Ways Tony Thompson could beat Wlad

First off I am taking Wlad to win this fight by a ko around 4-6 rounds but I am also trying to think of ways Wlad could be beat. Thompson is a skilled southpaw that likes to work the jab from what I have seen. If Thompson moves around which doesn't seem like his strengths he may have a decent chance. Corrie Saunders was a southpaw and he ko'd Wlad. Thompson should move around and give Wlad different angles in this fight.

Another thing Thompson needs to do is dodge that right. Clit loves to work that jab which is fine, eat the jab but when the deadly right comes in dodge and then hit. If Thompson is able to dodge the right he will have a home run shot all day. Brewster did this and in their first meeting was able to beat him(dont want to hear about the draining or poisoning excuses. A loss is a loss.)

3rd be aggressive. Don't be Ibramov or the usual guy that allows Klitchko to dictate pace. No looping punches but straight jab and a forceful punch return can get Klitchko reeling. The guy can't fight going back so apply the pressure like some guys have done(McCline comes to mind).

What else you think can be done for Thompson to bring home a belt?

I can honestly say that Thomson has no chance. I'm rooting for him becuase i love the underdogs, but there is simply no way for him to win. He is not out boxing Klitschko and hes not knocking him out becuase hes not known for his power. This will be one of Wladimir's easier fights.

Thompson is a good fighter, but he is going up against a great fighter in Wladimir Klitschko....Thompson has no chance.

Wlad is gonna beat the **** outta Thompson and knock his ass out.

Another American heavyweight bites the dust.

The first thing Thompson has to do is figure out how to get inside without getting taken apart by that jab. Maybe if he can do that he can go to the body and hope that Wlad drops his guard enough to get to his chin. Maybe then Thompson can catch him.

But frankly I just don't see it happening. Thompson is a good fighter but Wlad is entirely in another class.

Getting in range against Klitschko will be very difficult, Thompson has size on his side but not the speed of hand or foot to make in roads nor is he aggressive enough to force Klit out of his comfort zone. This will be a jab fest with Wlad winning on the cards.

So you think it will go the distance??

I will bet you points that Wlad wins by KO or TKO......

Making him fight. I still question Wlad's punch resistance. If it gets to a point where Thompson is just getting beaten to the punch, then he should just sell out and try to make Wlad as uncomfortable as possible.

Thompson needs to fight rough as hell, not let himself get tied up, and throw uppercuts on the inside.

I feel sorry for Thompson, Wlad's going to take out his frustations on him, he's going to be on the receiving end of a vicious KO.
